At 8:02 p.m. on January 31, 2017, an employee was leaning against a machine with a conveyor belt, observing products that were move past. The employee placed h is left hand against the machine guard rail and inadvertently wrapped his finger s underneath the guard, amputating the first digit of the left ring finger and i ndex finger.
