Investigation Summary
At 2:30 p.m. on January 16, 2017, Employee #1, employed by a masonry company, was performing exterior masonry work at a multiemployer construction site. He was operating a mixer to make mortar when he put his hand into the mixer. Emergency services were called, and Employee #1 was transported to the hospital. He was treated for the amputation of an unspecified number of fingers. Employee #1 was discharged without hospitalization.
