Employee run over by a tractor

At approximately 11:30 p.m. on September 2, 2003, an employee was at an agricultural site, Highway 4 and Van Allen Road, Stockton. The employee and coworkers were harvesting grapes with the use of a harvester, tractors and gondolas. The employee was a sorter on the back of the harvester. At the time of the accident, the employee had dismounted from the seat of the harvester to mark the end of the row just harvested. At this time a tractor with a gondola, attempted to make a left hand turn, striking employee from behinds. The employee was run over by the gondola tire. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident for which hospitalization was required.
