Employee Receives Electric Shock While Positioning Ladder

At approximately 1:20 p.m. on November 19, 2003, an employee was positioning a 16 ft aluminum ladder into an Orange tree when it contacted an overhead 12kv high voltage line. The employee sustained electrical burns to the feet and was taken via ambulance to Sierra View Hosp. Porterville, and then transferred to U.M.C Fresno, CA. were he was admitted for treatment.
