Investigation Summary
On May 29, 2003, Employee #1 was standing on a 6-foot ladder near the edge of the third floor of an apartment complex while installing fireproof drywall. The ladder was leaning against the wall and when the ladder shifted, Employee #1 lost his balance and fell off the third story roof. Employee #1 sustained two cracked vertebrae after falling 25 feet. Employee #1 was hospitalized for three days.
