Employee eye is injured after struck by handle

On January 13, 2004, an employee, spray rig supervisor, had loaded a Randall spray rig, four-wheel vehicle, with a spray tank onto a trailer to transport it back to Bakersfield. He had cinched down a chain binder on the trailer when the binder came loose and the handle struck the employee in the right eye. He was taken to Mercy Southwest Hospital for emergency treatment.
