Investigation Summary
On August 19, 2003, Employee #1 was cleaning the engine compartment of a Case 95XT Skid Steer tractor. He either bypassed the block-out devices on the cab of the tractor or did not use them, which resulted in the cab falling on his arm. The impact of the falling cab on his arm caused multiple fractures. He was taken to a medical center for emergency treatment where he underwent surgical procedures and was then hospitalized for postoperative care.
