Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:00 noon on August 22, 2002, Employee #1 was starting his lunch break at a construction site. He climbed into the back of a coworker's pickup truck without the coworker's knowledge. The coworker started his truck and was beginning to drive away when Employee #1 fell to the ground, striking his head as he landed. He suffered a concussion and was transported to a hospital and died the next day.
