Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:00 noon on January 30, 1999, Employee #1, of Steve's Painting and Decorating, was painting a wall at a single-family residence in Pasadena, CA. He was using a 32 ft extension ladder that was resting against the wall when the ladder slipped on the tile floor and Employee #1 fell between 15 and 17 ft to the ground. He suffered multiple fractures and was treated for two weeks at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Employee #1 spoke only Arabic; his daughter provided information regarding his accident and work situation.
