Investigation Summary
Employee #1 was assisting in placing a large wall panel into a cargo container. Straps that secured panels already in the container came loose and caused the panels to fall over, pinning Employee #1 against the container wall. Employee #2 came to his aid and, in trying to get the panels off Employee #1, got his finger caught between the panels. Only Employee #1 required hospitalization. The panels are 5 ft wide by 38 ft long and weigh about 900 lb each.
