Employee Fractures Both Wrists in Fall from Scaffold

On October 15, 2003, Employee #1 was working for a drywall contractor, installing drywall on a large new high school construction project. He was a journeyman hanger, working on a Perry scaffold. The work platform was fully planked and 5 feet, 10 inches above the ground. As Employee #1 measured the ceiling to determine the size of the next drywall sheet to be hung, he stepped off the end of the scaffold and fell to the concrete floor.
