Investigation Summary
On June 3, 2010, Employee #1 sustained a serious injury to his groin area. Employee #1 was on a crew picking fruit and they were finished for the day. They were leaving the orchard when Employee #1 and two other employees decided to hop on a bin trailer being pulled by a tractor. While he was on the running board, his foot slipped off and hit the rotating wheel behind him where his legs fell between the running board and the wheel causing the his injury. Employee #1 was taken to Kaweah Delta Hospital, located in Visalia, CA for treatment.
