Employee's Finger Is Amputated When Skillsaw Kicks Back

On August 14, 2007, an employee was cutting a two by six with a skill saw when the saw kicked backed and hit the employees' fingers. The employee was taken to the hospital for his injuries. He was hospitalized for five days and treated for partial amputation of the ring finger.
