Employee's Hand Is Cut When Crushed by Falling Object

On April 30, 2007, Employee #1 was assisting a coworker in loading a furnace into the attic of a single story residence. He stood on a 6 ft A-frame fiber glass ladder. He lost his balance and reached out with his right hand and grabbed a beam. The furnace dropped slightly on to the top of his right hand and he sustained a large laceration.
