Employee injured when struck by flying board

At approximately 7:45 a.m. on August 3, 1995, Employee #1, of Sierra Pacific Industries, was working at the sorting chain on the out-feed side of a gang trim saw. A 1 by 4 board turned crossways in the trim saw and was thrown from the out-feed side, striking Employee #1 on her left side. She suffered two fractured ribs and her left biceps was torn in two.
