Employee injured in fall from ladder

Employee #1, a 19-year-old mill hand for a rice milling operation, was checking and clearing magnets on conveyors. He was either going to or coming from checking the magnet on a conveyor on the roof when for some reason he fell at least 35 ft from the ladder. A coworker saw a moving shadow and heard a thump overhead, looked up, and saw Employee #1 laying on a deck above him. The ladders and platforms met all of the safety requirements. There were no witnesses to this accident, and the cause of the fall remains unknown.
