Employee injured when run over by truck

On May 27, 1997, Employee #1, a loader for an aerial herbicide sprayer, was kneeling and folding a chemical storage bag in front of a 1-ton, flat rack Ford truck. The truck driver, who delivered herbicides for a chemical company, put on his side racks, got in, and started the engine. He did not see Employee #1 and ran over him. Employee #1 sustained serious injuries, for which he was hospitalized.
