Employee's finger amputated by router
On December 24, 1996, Employee #1, a mechanic for a manufacturer of bags, backpacks, and luggage, inserted his finger into the router table hole to remove the router. He bumped the toggle switch and the router started up, amputating his left index finger at midjoint.
