BURN - ELECTRICAL FAULT IN PANELBOARD

An electrician was installing a 125-ampere circuit breaker in an existing 480-volt panelboard. He dropped a bolt, which started an electrical fault across two phase buses. The ensuing electric arc burned the electrician. He was hospitalized with second-degree burns to both his arms and his face and neck.
