Investigation Summary
Employee #1, a truck driver for a supermarket chain, was making a delivery to the loading dock at the rear of a market. While he was unloading the truck using a pallet jack, two individuals approached him and fired gunshots at him. The bullet struck him in the upper torso and the bullet lodged near his sternum. He was hospitalized at HCI Medical Center and the attending physician decided not to remove the bullet. Employee #1 has since returned to work.
