Employee's foot burned when sprayed with hot water

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on December 10, 1993 , Employee #1 was closing down a line (hose) to a stainless steel tank #E1100 when the tri-clamp connection became dislodged, spraying hot water, approximately 180 degrees Fahrenheit, into his boot. He sustained 3rd degree burns on his left foot and was taken to Tustin Hospital Medical Center.
