Employee fractures vertebra when struck by falling gate

Employee #1 and another employee were adjusting the gate of a chainlink fence. Employee #1 was kneeling on one side of the gate while the other employee pried up the bottom in order to adjust hinge pins which had come loose. The gate fell slowly onto the back of Employee #1, fracturing his vertebra.
