Employee died of heart attack while working on cattle ranch

On November 2, 2002, Employee #1 was working as a ranch foreman at the Tom Bengard Ranch and was the only employee at the site. He was driving a truck hauling hay for the cattle and feeding the cattle when he began to feel sick. He went to the ranch house to lie down and called his wife to come get him. His wife arrived and found him without a pulse. She called emergency services and administered CPR. He was pronounced dead at Plumas District Hospital. He died of a heart attack.
