Employee Falls from Roof and Suffers Concussion

On October 9, 2006, Employee #1 was installing a solar energy system on a roof of a new house. Employee #1 was removing roof tile to install roof hardware on the roof to secure the solar panel system. While Employee #1 was moving some tile out of the way and to a safe place so it won't slide down and hit employees below, one of the tiles that he was standing on broke. Employee #1 fell off of the roof to a basement window well. Employee #1 sustained a concussion and was hospitalized. Employee #1 was not wearing fall protection.
