Employee Falls From Roof

At approximately 11:15 a.m. on March 28, 2003, Employee #1 was working on a single story roof, chalk lining the backside of the roof in preparation for installation of batts. He stepped back and down toward the left rake edge. He did not realize that the roof edge ended. He stepped off the roof and fell 16 to 18 feet to the ground below. Employee #1 sustained serious fractures and was treated at a local hospital.
