Employee injured in fall from roof

On June 1, 2004, Employee #1 was standing on top of a 4-foot by 7-foot wide slanted roof of a two-story house while painting underneath the eves. As Employee #1 was standing on the roof, above the front door of the house, using a spray gun to paint under the eve, he misjudged the distance from the edge and fell 9 feet, 10 inches. Employee #1 was hospitalized and treated for a fracture to a section of his back.
