EMPLOYEE FELL THROUGH STUD WALL AND RECEIVES CONCUSSION

On July 16, 1998, Employee #1 was cleaning up the work area and removing braces at a commercial construction site. Employee #1 leaned into an open stairwell through a stud-framed wall to knock the diagonal brace from the stud wall. Employee #1 lost his balance and fell 11 feet to the cement floor, striking his head and sustaining a serious head injury.
