Investigation Summary
At approximately 8:15 p.m. on March 11, 2000, Employee #1, a theatrical rigger employed by Branam Enterprises, Inc., was removing a theatrical lighting arrangement at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, CA. The elevating work platform he was using tipped over and he fell 14 ft 6 in. Employee #1 sustained serious injuries to his upper back and was transported by paramedics to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he was hospitalized for ten days.
