Truck driver suffers heart attack while making delivery

At 11:00 p.m. on December 13, 1995, Employee #1, a truck driver for Ron & Sons Trucking Company, was delivering a part to the McDonnell-Douglas plant in Long Beach when he suffered a heart attack. Security personnel at the plant called Long Beach paramedics, who transported him to Lakewood Medical Center. After a week in the hospital, Employee #1 was released to continue treatment at home under the care of his physician. It could not be determined if the heart attack was work-related.
