Investigation Summary
It was the end of the work day and Employee #1, the assistant manager of a fast food restaurant, and two coworkers were going to take the day's receipts to the bank. After Employee #1 got to his car, the two coworkers saw a person with a gun walking to the employee's car. The coworkers warned Employee #1 and ran back to the mall. The robber shot Employee #1 in the chest/abdominal area with a 9mm Lorcin pistol and took the receipts. Employee #1 was killed. The Sheriff's department is still investigating the case, but has not been able to determine if the shooting is a type I or a type III incident.
