Investigation Summary
At about 2:10 p.m. on January 18, 1993, Employee #1 was taking monitoring samples of landfill gas from the detection system located atop the Alpine Village Delicatessen. The employee slipped on the moss covered roof and fell approximately 15 ft to the ground. Employee #1 was transported to Harbor General Hospital, Torrance, CA, for treatment.
