Investigation Summary
Employee #1 was relocating an existing roof gutter for a new addition to a metal storage building. He climbed a ladder to access the roof and look for the lowest point to route the gutters. He was walking on the roof when he stepped on a fiberglass skylight and fell 17 ft 10 in. through it to the concrete floor, striking his head as he landed. Employee #1 died of massive head trauma.
