ELECTRIC SHOCK - CONTACT WITH OVERHEAD LINE THRU FLASHING

A roofer was carrying metal flashing on a roof he was repairing. He slipped; and, as he tried to regain his balance, the flashing contacted an overhead power line that ran alongside the jobsite. The roofer received an electric shock and was burned on both hands. He was transported to a hospital, where he was treated and released within 24 hours.
