Employee's finger amputated by vehicle cooling fan

At approximately 9:45 p.m. on June 1, 1995, Employee #1, a mechanic, was diagnosing a problem with the system engine speed tachometer of a tour-tram vehicle. He reached into the engine compartment while the motor was running in order to check the wiring on the RPM sending unit and his right little finger was partially amputated by the cooling fan.
