Investigation Summary
The body of Employee #1, of Allianz Insurance Co., Burbank, CA, was found in a corner conference room along with her husband's body (they were not actually married but she used his last name). According to management and employee interviews, the shooter walked into the office early in the morning, shot Employee #1 to death with a pistol, and then killed himself over their recent breakup. No one heard or knew of the shooting until they went to look for Employee #1, who was missing from her work station.
