Investigation Summary
At approximately 2:10 p.m. on October 8, 1992, Employee #1 was cutting a redwood siding board. He is right handed and the saw was in his right hand. After completing the cut, his attention was drawn away and he cut his left hand from behind the thumb to the ring finger. The saw guard had been blocked. The only other people on the job site were two coworkers at the other end of the house. Employee #1 had worked on and off for this employer. A citation was issued.
