Employee's fingers injured in saw

Employee #1 was cutting a 3 ft by 8 ft plywood panel when the wood became stuck in the saw and his right hand struck the blade. Two of his fingers were lacerated and one was amputated. He was transported to the Western Hand Clinic for treatment. The saw was not guarded.
