Employee injured in fall from block wall

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on March 6, 1995, Employee #1 was walking on a 6 in. wide block wall and 1 in. wide iron gate that was 8 ft tall after completing a meter reading after an apartment had been vacated. Employee #1 fell from the block wall after crossing the iron gate. Suffering chip fractures to the right third finger and left elbow, Employee #1 required hospitalization. No accident related violation was cited because of Employee #1's admission that he had received extensive training on the subject matter.
