EMPLOYEE STRUCK BY ROAD GRADER, FRACTURES FOOT

On May 25, 1994, Employee #1, a paving, surfacing, and tamping equipment operator for American Concrete, was helping the operator of the road grader in the removal of old asphalt curbing and the placement of barricades. Employee #1 was not aware of his proximity to the road grader until the wheel of the grader ran over his foot. He was hospitalized with a fracture.
