Investigation Summary

At approximately 12:30 p.m. on November 6, 1993, Employee #1 was installing a wall during a remodeling project in the plant's employee lunch area. The wall was attached to the building beams where Employee #1 was working on a ladder. He was looking down the length of the wall when he saw the wall start to fall toward another employee. Employee #1 jumped from his ladder, ran to where the other employee was, and tried to hold up the wall. The wall, too heavy for Employee #1 to hold, fell on him, injuring his left leg and ankle. Employee #1 was hospitalized for his injuries.
