Employee's fingertips amputated in egg conveyor

At approximately 3:45 p.m. on April 29, 1993, Employee #1 was working at a poultry ranch on a conveyor that gathers eggs. The conveyor was in operation when Employee #1 lost his balance. He reached out to steady himself and reached into the moving components of the conveyor, causing the amputation of the middle and ring fingertips of his left hand.
