ELECTRIC SHOCK - DIRECT CONTACT WITH ENERGIZED CONDUCTOR

An electrician, who had over 17 years of experience, was working on an electrical control. He was replacing a photo-electric cell. He had not deenergized the circuit before replacing the photo-electric cell. As he disconnected the existing control and pulled the conductors for the new one, his hand contacted energized conductors within the switchbox. The electrician was electrocuted.
