Employee's foot smashed between forklift and concrete pole

At approximately 10:10 p.m. on November 3, 1992, Employee #1, of Baxter Healthcare Corp., who was operating a forklift, dropped off a pallet in the marshaling area of a shipping dock. As he backed away from the area, he backed into a concrete-filled pole near a stairway and his left foot was caught between the forklift and the pole. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
