Employee's finger amputated in roller press

On January 11, 2000, Employee #1 was attempting to demonstrate to the press operator that the rollers on roller press Number 6 were not correctly pressing the gang plates on the trusses being feed into the roller press. He sustained a partial amputation of his right thumb and forefinger when they became crushed between the rollers and was hospitalized.
