Employee injured in fall from ladder

On February 3, 2000, Employee #1, a laborer for Prime Building Materials Inc., was unloading drywall onto a wall at a single-family residence undergoing remodeling. He was standing on an 8 ft stepladder, sliding the drywall into the contractor inside the house when he lost his balance. Employee #1 fell off the ladder, injuring his right arm. He was taken to Northridge Hospital, where he was observed and then released without further treatment. Employee #1's arm was not fractured and he had no other injuries.
