Investigation Summary
On December 14, 1999, Employee #1, a mechanic foreman, was working on a large field tractor changing the air filter. Employee #1 was standing on the front left tires. The tires are 5-ft-6-in. above grade. Employee #1 lost his balance on the tires and fell to the dirt road. Employee #1 suffered a spinal cord injury in the fall and was hospitalized for treatment.
