Employee injured by fall from ladder

At approximately 10:50 a.m. on December 18, 1992, inside the warehouse of Flip's Tire Center, Employee #1, a warehouse man, had returned a tire to an elevated storage shelf that was 7 ft 8 in. above the floor. As he began to descend an aluminum ladder, the ladder slipped and he and the ladder fell to the concrete floor. Employee #1 reported that he was not facing the ladder at the time. Fire department paramedics transported him to Valley Presbyterian Hospital with a hip injury. He was not hospitalized.
