Employee injured in fall from ladder

At approximately 1:00 p.m. on November 10, 1992, Employee #1 and a coworker, of Jesse Ramirez Drywall Co., were installing new drywall inside a large commercial building. Employee #1 was standing on a wooden straight ladder trying to fit a section of drywall behind a suspended HVAC unit. While pushing against the drywall, he pushed himself backward and fell from the ladder to the concrete floor, a distance of about 10 ft. Employee #1 was hospitalized with a leg fracture.
