Employee fractures wrist in 16 ft fall from ladder

Employee #1 was standing on a ladder that was in good condition. He was tied off. Employee #1 was placing a steel bearing plate on top of a pilaster when he lost his balance and fell approximately 16 ft. He suffered a fractured right wrist and minor lacerations. He was treated at the hospital and retained for observation. No violations of safety standards were cited during the investigation.
