Employee Fractures Wrist in Tree Clearing Incident

On February 15, 2014, Employee #1 was holding onto a catch line that was lowering a tree limb. The end of the catch line was entangled in a piece of brush that was being fed into a chipper and wrapped itself around his arm and was pulled into the wood chipper before the line broke. Employee #1 was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for a right wrist fracture and partial removal of his bicep muscle He was hospitalized for nine days.
